About Me: I’ve been serving clients around the world for over two decades, having started my planning business in 1994. Since then, we have become known for our “Posh Planning” service that truly lets our clients enjoy the whole process. With an upbeat personality combined with a calm demeanor, I am able to help my clients relax knowing every detail will be handled. I am organized, creative, thorough, and most of all team-driven.
As a style chameleon, I have a knack for matching my clients to their perfect vendors, venues, destinations. I love the challenge to find the details that will make your event or journey unique to you. In the past year, I have created events rustic elegance, vintage glam, modern sleek for example. Our clients have traveled for honeymoons and vacations to Ireland, Fiji, and Italy as well as prime Caribbean locations.

Precisely as Planned has seasonal openings (fall, spring, and summer) for interns who want to learn about the exciting and rewarding Wedding and Event Planning business. This position requires no experience in the industry, just a willingness to learn. The Planning Intern will be responsible for researching vendors, creating posts in various online marketing arenas, attending meetings and servicing events. She will be working with all types of premier vendors such as florists, caterers, venues, musicians, DJs, and bakers. This position will appeal to someone who loves to take on challenges on a daily basis and meet or exceed clients’ expectations consistently. The scope of the position includes helping with everything prior to booking, sales and marketing, execution of the event and everything involved until the last guest has left. The Planning Intern will report directly to the owner.
Once the internship has been completed, the intern then may be asked to join the staff as an Event Assistant, Lead Assistant, or possibly Lead Event Coordinator.

Precisely as Planned alone offers the all-inclusive education to starting your own wedding planning business. Our apprenticeship is a unique six-month position that is an extensive study of all aspects of wedding and event planning. We are one of the few apprenticeship programs that offer an internationally recognized program through which you may receive certification. In the apprenticeship program, you will be enrolled in the Association of Bridal Consultants. In addition, you will be involved in the planning, staging, event design and final production of at least two weddings.
You will be able to choose the two event dates that work best for you and attend as many meetings and appointments with brides as possible based on their schedule. You will attend an initial consultation and a final planning meeting, as well as help, create the wedding day itineraries, emergency contact lists, vendor contact lists and detailed to-do lists. As an apprentice, you will also attend the rehearsals and be present for coordination of the Wedding Day. Not only will you get hands-on experience in the wedding consulting field, but you will also attend one-on-one training seminars that will show you how to run your business, attract more brides, and learn the ins and outs of becoming a certified wedding planner. In addition to the certificate received by ABC (after successful completion of the course), you will be awarded a certificate of completion from Precisely as Planned and the use of approved photos and/or media may be included in your certification portfolio.
